Salsa is a fusion of different dances and cultures, like Son, Rumba, Danzon, mambo, cha-cha-cha etc. and is continuing developing. There are of course different styles such as the LA Style (on1), the NY style (also called the Mambo (on2)), the Cuban style, Colombian style and the Puerto Rican style.

At Salsa dance school TC Dance we focus on the LA Style (on1) and NY Style (On2). There will also be in the short future classes in other dance cultures such as Cuban salsa, Bachata Dominicano, Zouk, Kizomba and Jazz. Obviously the best way to tell the difference between these styles and cultures, is by experience it your self in our classes.

Courses

Salsa Dance school TC Dance divides their courses in the following levels:

Salsa Beginners 1 till 3, accelerated course Salsa Beginners 1-2, Intermediate 1 till 3, Advanced 1 till 3, Mambo Switch, Mambo1 till 3.

And in the near future more detail of the Cuban, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba and Jazz courses.

TC Dance also have every so often themed courses such as Lady styling, Styling Men, Salsa for kids etc.

Mambo 1, Mambo switch

Mambo switch: In this class you will learn how to switch from LA style (dancing on count 1)
to New York styl "the mambo" (dancing on2)

Mambo 1: In this class you know allready the basics from the mambo. We will give some
particulair mambo shines and combinations on intermediate / advanced level.
